We did our best for most news, opinions and story sections to keep fact for what they should be, facts. However, Sometimes doing your best is nog good enough and we have been put on the wrong foot. By news outlets, AI's or humans. We're sorry for that but unfortunately it's unavoidable. The rely on what the world is, 8 B humans with free speech and press does not guarantee that all stories can be treated as scientifically proven to be true.
And that also count for the translations of texts. The articles are automatically translated from the language they are written in. Mostly from English but sometimes also from Dutch. Sometimes a human redacts. Translations might not be accurate or sound "unearthy". People make mistakes, machines do too.
In many articles, stories and headlines there are links to the origin of them. However, those links existed at that very moment of emergence but the origin websites may remove them "at will". So most likely over time, the links in our articles will no doubt get useless.
Opinions are driven by our own guidelines. They reflect our views on specific topics but we have never, ever the intention to harm or insult existing human beings. There is an exception for political prominent figures where our satire, sarcasm and opposing opinion can hit some nerves.
